Photos of New Orleans, Louisiana, USA!

April 30th, 2009

New Orleans, the capital of Jazz! The most tropical American and Brazilian cities, with its carnival of Mardi Gras and its narrow streets and lively and full of party people!

The city suffered a blow due to Hurricane Katrina in 2004, but the photos from 2007 and 2008, you can see that the largest city in Louisiana is recovered and vibrant again! Certainly worth a good visit, no?

Aamby Valley City, the Indian Alphaville

April 30th, 2009

When you go to India, might be interesting to know a new project, Aamby Valley City. The city is a kind of Indian Alphaville, the 120km from Mumbai, and offers a complete structure with trade, good hotels, banks, high-standard residences, golf courses, recreational facilities etc..

The most interesting is the following drawings of other countries, such as Swiss chalets, residential Nordic and other details that make the place different from the rest of India. Without doubt an extremely interesting and quite different from the excitement and “mess” of Mumbai.

The best way to get there is taking a helicopter at the airport of Mumbai. This is the fastest way to reach, takes only 20 minutes. If you prefer to drive, you can get to Lonavala Khandala Expressway, which connects Mumbai to Pune. The road is excellent and safe, double and three tracks for each direction, which also results in a comfortable journey of approximately 120 minutes.

Venice, the city of gondolas

April 30th, 2009

In the country of Ferrari and Lamborghini is a city where cars are no good for nothing. Venice, Italy, is a city built on the waters of Laguna Venetta, in northeast Italy, a place of shallow water and calm, perfect for the only available means of transport, the famous and charming gondolas.

And look to the city on water is not small! More than 260 thousand inhabitants living in one of the most beautiful cities in the world, classified by the historian Fernand Braudel as the first economic capital of capitalism!

Interesting that the Italians believe (and rightly) Venice the most beautiful city in the world. And, ironically, right next door, on the mainland, lies the town of Mestre, a city so ugly that the Italians call “the most ugly in the world.”

Monterrey, Mexico

April 30th, 2009

Some photos of the beautiful and wealthy city of Monterrey, capital of the State of Nuevo León, Mexico, the 3rd most populous country with 3.8 million inhabitants in the metropolitan area, considered the safest city in Latin America and holds the highest income per capita in Mexico.

The city is known as the “City of the Mountains” by locating it in one of the spikes of the Sierra Madre and simply grew around a mountain, the Cerro de la Silla, a postcard unmistakable.

Its main attractions are, of course, the majestic mountains. The city offers a wide range of scenery to take your breath, trails and places for mountaineering.

The mixture of modern urban life in a city that virtually nothing should be in infrastructure to other cities of the “First World”, with nature and the mountains here on the offer, perhaps, a unique combination for tourists.
